Mission

Evaluate proposals submitted by graduate students in psychology seeking to win one of two scholarships offered by the Division, the Malyon-Smith and the Bisexual Foundation awards.

Recent activities

Awards were given during the Business Meeting at the 2007 APA Convention. The committee is currently soliciting research proposals from graduate students in psychology. The next deadline for applications is February 1, 2008.

What You Can Do

  • Faculty members are strongly encouraged to inform students of the awards.
  • If a student, submit a proposal for the Malyon-Smith or Bisexual Foundation scholarship awards.
  • Volunteer to review proposals. Reviews will take place in the spring and reviewers will be given no more than 10 proposals.
  • Support this important Division initiative with a tax-exempt donation.
