Program Committee
Chair
Alan Storm and Wendy Biss
Mission
The Program Committee is responsible for the Division's programming at the annual APA Convention every summer. The committee develops a program that includes symposia, paper sessions, poster sessions, invited addresses, workshops and lectures representing current research and scholarship on lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender psychology.
The committee is also responsible for management and program planning for the Division's hospitality suite at Convention. The hospitality suite provides a place for LGBT conference attendees and those interested in LGBT issues to gather, socialize, exchange ideas, and network. The hospitality suite program includes discussion hours, workshops, parties, and a display of materials and books relevant to LGBT psychology.
