Membership committee
Chairs
David Pantalone and Deborah Kaysen
Mission
This committee is charged with developing the membership base and representing membership interests before the Executive Committee. Maintaining current members, adding new members, and addressing the needs and interests of members are continual issues for the Membership Committee.
Current activities
The membership committee is proactive in reaching out to psychologists interested in LGBT issues. Its activities include responding to queries from potential members, maintaining the membership directory and the Division 44 listserv. The membership co-chairs welcome questions concerning membership or participation in the directory or the listserv.
The Division 44 listserv is a primary means of communication among Division members. Participation in the listserv provides users the opportunity to stay informed about the Division's work and to contribute to discussion of issues central to LGBT psychology.
